Muhammad Ali’s name has been synonymous with boxing. He had bring different accolades and glory in the field of boxing. In 1999, Ali was crowned “Sportsman of the Century” by Sports Illustrated and the BBC. He was known as “”Greatest of All Time”.
He became the first man to win the heavyweight title three times and revolutionized the sport by introducing a different boxing style. He was best known for his fighting style which he described as “Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee”. His movement is often described as a dance. His great hand speed, as well as fast feet and taunting tactics are still unsurpassable until this time.
Even up today, no other athlete has transcended the glory pinned to the collar of sports champions the way Muhammad Ali has. Imitated but never surpassed.
