The ecstatic team, Tampa Bay Rays dropped their gloves, they tossed their caps, ran in from the outfield and threw themselves into a pile near the pitcher’s mound celebrating their recent their victory over Boston. The Tampa Bay Rays, full with triumphant emotion and soaked wet with champagne is now set to leave the partying behind and concentrate on the upcoming challenge. The team’s manager Joe Maddon gave his victorious champions the day off this Monday. This will allow them to recover from their fourth celebration in the past month and hopefully bring fresh motivation and begin to turn their attention to the Philadelphia Phillies. They are slotted to play Game 1 of the World Series this Wednesday. The manager felt it was good way for the team to recover from the emotional drain and allow everyting to sink in. the next day will be all work, he assures.
